[Insert brief team introduction here]
Callie graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2011 and began her career as a mixed vet in Kidderminster before moving to North Wales in 2012, where she has worked in busy small animal practice ever since. Originally from Leicestershire, she now calls Wales home with her husband, two children, a spaniel cross, Hunter, and a cat, Derwen.
She is committed to combining clinical excellence with compassionate, patient-centred care. After developing a passion for surgery, she gained a surgical certificate in 2022. For the past five years, Callie has been Clinical Director, leading clinical standards, mentoring teams, and supporting client care.
She believes great veterinary medicine is built on trust, communication, and strong relationships. Her mobile service offers calm, personalised care at home, reducing stress for pets and owners while maintaining high clinical standards and fostering long-term relationships.
Hannah Smallwood is a Flintshire-based veterinary nurse with 19 years’ experience. Qualified since 2011, she has spent over 8 years as a Head Nurse. She is passionate about patient and client care, creating supportive clinical environments, and maintaining high welfare standards through compassion and clear communication.
Hannah holds a small animal behaviour certificate, reflecting her interest in understanding animals beyond clinical needs. She has mentored over 13 nurses as a clinical coach and works with the RCVS as a practical exam examiner, helping uphold standards for future nurses.
At home, she has a cat called Lloyd. She also enjoys amateur photography and unwinding in the countryside.
